Quality assurance

Care audit software

An audit is useful when a finding leads to action and a later check of effectiveness. Bring those steps together instead of leaving the result in a completed spreadsheet.

Set a useful scope

Decide which practice or risk you are reviewing, what evidence you need and who should contribute. Choose the relevant audit in MyCareCompliance and check the template against your own service; a template is not a complete assurance process.

Record the finding and the evidence

A practical example is a records review that identifies missing information. Capture the finding, attach the supporting evidence and assign the correction to a named person with a due date. Avoid recording completion until the action has actually been checked.

Review patterns, not just individual scores

Use compliance reporting to identify recurring findings and outstanding actions. The management discussion should consider what changed, whether practice improved and whether a further review is needed.

Questions about quality assurance

Which plan includes digital audits?

MyCareCompliance Essential includes core CQC audits. Higher plans advertise a fuller audit library and additional oversight tools. Check the official feature comparison.

Should every audit run on the same schedule?

We do not prescribe a universal schedule. Providers should determine a proportionate review approach for their risks, activities and current requirements.
